Dr. Tyler Quist is a fellowship-trained ophthalmologist who specializes in the medical and surgical treatment of glaucoma. He has expertise in both traditional and minimally invasive glaucoma surgeries. He also enjoys providing comprehensive eye care and performing both routine and complex cataract surgery.
He attended the University of Utah for his undergraduate degree in chemical engineering. He received is medical degree at the University of Utah School of Medicine, where he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society for his outstanding academic performance. He was blessed to spend the next five years of his life at the University of Iowa Hospitals and clinics, where he completed his internship, residency, and fellowship training. During this time, he was awarded the Medical Student Teacher of The Year and authored many peer-reviewed research publications.
Dr. Quist is married to his better half and wonderful wife, Kaitlin. Together, they have 5 children, including two sets of twins! He is a family man who loves spending time with his kids and is actively involved in his church. As a passionate wildlife artist, he enjoys sketching upland game birds, waterfowl, and western wildlife. He is an avid outdoorsman who loves to bow hunt, fly-fish, and to spend all of his free time in the mountains!
