Dr. Scott Butikofer is an experienced board certified comprehensive ophthalmologist who has been serving Pueblo and the Southern Colorado community since 2017. Originally from Rexburg, Idaho, Dr. Butikofer brings a wealth of expertise and a compassionate approach to eye care. He completed his ophthalmology training in Kansas City, Missouri, where he was voted to be the consultant of the year twice.
Dr. Butikofer specializes in cataract surgery and intraocular lens planning and can manage a range of eye conditions, including macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, and glaucoma. With a commitment to staying at the forefront of ophthalmological advancements, Dr. Butikofer ensures that each patient receives personalized and state-of-the-art care.
Beyond his professional pursuits, Dr. Butikofer enjoys fine woodworking, mountain biking, camping, and exploring new places with his wife and family. These hobbies reflect his appreciation for precision, adventure, and quality time with loved ones.
