Nitin Chopra, MD, MBA is an ophthalmologist with fellowship training in cornea, external disease, and refractive surgery. In addition to treating general eye concerns, Dr. Chopra performs cataract surgeries, ocular surface reconstruction, corneal transplantation (including penetrating keratoplasty, DSAEK, and DMEK), and laser vision correction (including LASIK and PRK).

Dr. Chopra grew up in Ohio and ventured west to study computer science at Stanford University. After a career in finance, during which he earned an MBA from the Wharton School of Business at University of Pennsylvania, Nitin decided to pursue a career in medicine. He was named Intern of the Year during his medical internship and went on to serve as co-chief resident during his ophthalmology residency at New York Eye and Ear Infirmary.

Dr. Chopra is committed to providing excellent patient care and keeping abreast of the most up-to-date techniques and treatment strategies. He strives to treat all his patients as if they were his own family.

Outside of work. Dr. Chopra is happily married and enjoys running, cycling, backpacking, snowboarding, ice cream, and playing the guitar.
